Symphony D. (born May 21, 1986) is a Fifth Generation Civilization Fanatics Center NESer most commonly associated with his achievements in warfare in ITNES I and NES2 VI as the Khmer Empire and Japanese Empire, respectively. He first began NESing on June 14th, 2005 as the Heavenly Empire of China in erez87's stERZNES - Atleast it's last at last! after lurking the NES Forum for several months but did not achieve notoriety until his participation in ITNES I as Funan and its subsequent evolutions. Since then, his reputation as a warmonger and skilled player have grown and he is considered by some^[1]^[2]^[3] to be among the more capable players within the CFC community. He has admitted an affinity for playing the United States of America^[4] and a lesser-known but almost equally strong fascination with China, as borne out by his campaign history; however his play record indicates he is comfortable with a wide variety of nations and styles. In addition to his style of play and achievements, he is also known as a constant proponent of professionalism within the community (sometimes to the annoyance of his peers) and as a developer of ideas. As of late he has been expressed an interest in modding and has expressed several thoughts ^[5]^[6]^[7], although nothing substantial has yet come of them. He does currently run a game of Risk in the NES forum, though it is not a NES by the traditional definition.
