Insane_Panda (born December 29, 1990) is a Civilization Fanatics Center NESer most commonly associated with his performance in NES2 VI as first the Kingdom of France, and then the Holy Roman Empire of the French Nation. He first began NESing on August 9th, 2004 as Shang in Sheep's SheepNES3 : New Dawn, and lurked for some time before that. In 2002, he attempted to participate in NESing but soon forgot about the forum only to rediscover it. His early attempts were quite laughable. However, as he began NESing, he was shown to be a proficient, if not skilled player. His first nation was the Empire of France, and since then, he has shown a clear preference for that nation in his playing choices - and indeed, his preference for France is commonly labled as Francophilia, something which he freely admits to and attributes such a love to the superiority of French culture and the nation's varied and exciting history. Ironically enough, he is of Vietnamese descent, a people which were noted for their fierce resistance against French occupation. Following his first NES, he participated in a multitude of NESes, in some cases performing well, in other cases performing poorly. Yet it was not until his performance in ITNES I as Armorica and then the Gaelic Empire of Aquitaine when achieved notoriety as a skilled player, and it was not until his performance in NES2 VI as the Holy Roman Empire of the French Nation in which he was truly considered one of the more capable members within the community. Specifically, he is seen to excell in the areas of warmongering and nation-building. As a he is also known for his affinity towards Imperial Germany and the United States of America, and generally, for his affinity towards militaristic and industrial states. Almost invariably, the nations which he plays tend towards a what he claims as "pragmatic militarism" with particular emphasis on both the military of his nations and their economic wealth. By other NESers , he is simply labeled a warmonger, and has a reputation of a certain untrustworthiness which can be attributed to the invasion of several allies, seemingly without provocation, in NES2 VI . He also has a certain reputation of being slightly arrogant and harboring a certain disdain for some, especially towards newer, less skilled players.
