Sorting Method
NESes are sorted by their location of creation and creation date, in ascending order. Each NES is issued a serial number for easy page creation within the NESwiki according to its linear post date. This serial number is given in the form of NES-NX, where N is the point of origin of the NES, and X is a four-digit number assigned linearly by aforementioned post date. Each NES also has its full thread title, moderator, start, and end date listed.
Specific qualifications for listing a NES are listed below in greater detail.

Entry Procedure
The following rules are to be utilized when adding NESes to a listing, and have been utilized in creating existing entries:
- A NES is defined by a thread in which the NES is actually intended to be played; concept threads and so on are not NESes.
- A single NES (or continuations of a single NES) with multiple threads and a single moderator are to be considered a single NES, and should not receive multiple entries.
- A single NES (or continuations of a single NES) with multiple and multiple moderators are to be be considered different NESes, and should receive multiple entries.
- The entire body of text as given in the title of a NES thread is utilized as its official Title.
- The moderator who creates the NES is listed as its Moderator. If there is more than one moderator, all involved parties are listed, their names divided with a "/".
- The first time (and only the first time) a moderator's name appears in the Moderator column, it is given a wikilink by surrounding it with "[[]]".
- NES Start and End Dates are to be given in the form "YYYY.MM.DD" for easy reference.
- A NES is considered to have started on the date on which its thread was created.
- A NES is considered to have ended when any of a number of different criteria are reached:
- If the NES is officially concluded by its moderator in any way (ie: declared dead or completed).
- If the NES has gone 90 days without any indication by the moderator as to its status, in which case it is considered to have ended at its last update.
- If the NES has gone 90 days without any indication by the moderator as to its status and has not had a single update then a date is not used and the NES is instead declared "D.O.A." ("Dead on Arrival").
- If the NES is still ongoing at the time of entry, it is listed as "Ongoing" in bold.
